Our general haulage fleet is as diverse as the freight it carries, ranging from LWB High top Mercedes Sprinters through to long haul 44 tonne artics. Thus giving you the flexibility from a small pallet through to a payload of 28.5 tonnes. We have box, curtainsiders, flat bed and tail-lift vehicles available.

Virtually every manufacturing or supply chain business works on a ‘just in time’ basis these days. Dobbs Logistics are fully aware of your commitment to your client and we embody that commitment each and every time we take on your ‘door to door’ same day service. Any size vehicle can be drawn upon for this facility.

UK Economy, Next day, timed and tail lift deliveries are catered for. RHA (1998) conditions of carriage is our standard application. However, extra insurance cover can be provided to a value of £500,000 per consignment at a nominal extra charge.

Either through ourselves or through the many partners and freight forwarders we have at our disposal we are able to organise and distribute your export requirements. At no obligation we can visit your premises and talk about any forthcoming requirements.

Dobbs specialise in the movement of indivisible loads. Wide and or long loads can be catered for. Fully experienced drivers and attendants, together with escorting vehicle. We take care of all the relevant Police notifications.

Full secure warehousing facilities are available. 24hr monitoring via RED CARE for peace of mind. We also cater for clients that do not wish to be in and out of the premises all the time, or do not have preparation facilities of their own. By on-going arrangements or on request we pick, pack and distribute, or prepare for third party collection as required.

We have many years experience in the safe handling, delivery and collection of conference and exhibition sets, including assisting in the build and breakdown of AV equipment and staging.

Removals are where Dobbs cut its teeth. Though not an ever present in the domestic market anymore we do specialise in office and factory removals. Overhead crane and manual operations are easily catered for.
